Power Grille & PoshTime® Control

Eneready’s ‘whisper’ POWER Grille and companion PoshTime® Control provide a significant boost to the exhaust rate from one bathroom at one time. Simple ‘speed’ controlled ‘boost’ (increased fan rpm) will double the continuous rate. When a 4”, 6” or 8” diameter ‘whisper’ POWER Grille is incorporated in conjunction with Eneready’s PoshTime® switch, that rate can be increased up to 8 times the continuous rate for any programmed period of time. This ’spot exhaust’ has proven to be a welcome  ‘boost’ since 1992.

This innovative and powerful feature is adaptable to many leading HRV’s, ERV’S and CEV’s being installed today.

Please note however that this system places demands on the duct system beyond that of a normal simple fan speed-controlled, non-zoned ventilation system. For the ‘Posh’ system to work as designed, the rough-in duct system must be installed using oversized exhaust trunk and branch ducts and that duct system must be sealed to a standard approximately 2 to 4 times tighter than today’s norm.

For this reason we have developed a network of Eneready Authorized Installers who understand these requirements and have
proven their ability to understand and meet these tough requirements. For this reason as well, we limit the sale of the line of ‘whisper’ POWER Grilles to Authorized companies, and to contractors who have won bids to engineer designed/specified systems. To help engineers, we have developed a Minimum Rough-In Standard which lists the simplest time proven steps available to achieve stated performance.

To further help ensure success in the finished residence, we also offer a Duct Blast® Test which is done at the rough-in stage. A successful test confirms that the duct system meets the air leakage limits: its longest branch has been adequately sized for its length so at finish, bathroom exhaust rates will be as promised and as expected.
